Brick and Stone Formwork Exposed behind Lime Stucco Render
A picture from 1906 showing the earlier lime stucco render and its detail at the cornice level at the Palazzo Sqroi-Caprino, a 17th century baroque palace, along Corso Umberto in Taormina Sicily. The lime render is now missing at the upper level as can be seen on the picture from today, not historically correct but it is interesting to see the brick and stone formwork which supported and shaped the lime render from behind.
