Lime stucco repairs to capitals
Lime and Plaster of Paris stucco repairs to capitals and repaired cornice work at the Church of the Carmine, built, in Baroque style, in 1662 with annexed the convent of the Carmelite friars. It was destroyed several times by the sacking of the Saracens and completely demolished by the bombings of 1943. After the reconstruction and the recent restoration it is no longer used for worship but has been transformed and is used as an auditorium or as an exhibition hall.
