We were asked to show Canal and River Trust workers and volunteers how to point up setts with lime mortars, at Rotherham Lock. However, the setts needed taking up and re-bedding, which we did, before repointing with a moderately hydraulic lime semi dry mix. A little bit more work than anticipated but everyone seemed to appreciate the end result.
