External and Internal Painted Decorative Lime Stucco
The entrance to Amber Palace in Jaipur is decorated with moulded raised 17th century lime stucco patterns which have been decorated with great affect. Inside the lime plasters also display raised stucco work often picked out in blue, the colour associated with the Royal family.
