Salts at Minster Yard York
M Womersleys were happy to advice the architects working for York Minster in how to deal with the failing external finish at Minster Yard York. We analysied the render and surface to establish that a wall was contaminated with Sulphate and Chloride based salts, and suggested remedial works to what was an early roman cement bound render.
